Good news, the PB passed its MOT!
I wonder if anyone can confirm the tyre pressures for a PB? I think the J2 is 27psi (?) but I can't seem to find a number for the PB.
Thank you in advance

I have always used 28psi on my Triple-M cars.

I was always told to put 2psi more in the rear than in the front.

Jeff, For what it's worth, my original instruction manual says 32 psi front & rear. They are of course talking of 4.00 19 & maybe 4.50s should be a little less??
They go on to say, "These pressures, if desired, may be reduced by 4 psi if the car is to be driven at low average speeds."
Enjoy,

Jeff, I think that your question has been answered quite effectively. Just to round-off, I run both my TC and F2 (both 4.40 x 19's) at 30 psi and find that the roadholding/ride (of the TC in particular) is then at its best! I can tell when my TC loses a bit of pressure, it no longer goes as straight! I also run my M-type (4.00 x 19) at the same pressure. |
