It has been suggested that the Triple M fraternity attending Goodwood on saturday or sunday should meet up at 12 noon each day at the C type display which will be located behind the Jackie Stewart Pavillion.
Look forward to meeting up with anyone who can make it.

Terry (and all)

Gill and I will be at the Revival all weekend so let's hope we can meet. Is anyone else from the fraternity attending - in their Triple-M cars, hopefully - regardless of the 'mixed'weather forecast?

Best wishes
Dick

Where was everyone today? On the plus side it was good to see some of the C types parading this morning!

Best wishes

Took the J2 to Goodwood on Friday. 186 miles round trip, leaving at 5.30 am but we managed it. Bit of a treck for the old girlbut she went well.

Thought the C types looked great.

I hope everyone had a great time at Goodwood, wish I could have gone but work is as usual up to the ceiling. Next year perhaps. Jon, J2 looks wonderful.

Cracking day out and fab to see the C-Types pride of place. We got absolutely drowned as the heavens opened during the TT, real shame. Highlight of the weekend was the squadron of Spitfires, 10 were scrambled in the afternoon a wonderful sight!!

Looking forward to having a go on the circuit at VSCC sprint in a few weeks time.

We were there as well, but I had not seen this thread. We really enjoyed the weekend, had a lovely week in the UK and the car behaved almost perfectly. And thanks to Beer of Houghton for having a look at our left front wheel.

Hello Maurice

I spotted your car in the car park and very nice it looked too!

I was wondering whether the car is recorded in the Triple-M Register records and what its chassis number is, because I could not find AR 19 80 in the current printed Register.

Hello Dick,

Algje is certainly recorded in the register, the register number is 1293, chassinumber 2556. When I bought the car in march it had registration number ALG 182 (hence the name "Algje").

Kind regards,
Maurice

Here's a few of my images from Goodwood last weekend. The C types looked splendid I have to say. Shame they weren't given more of a spotlight at the event in my opinion. Well done to all the the owners for getting their cars there.

Very nice pics Robin - many thanks. Was a good weekend and we got in some good laps particularly on saturday when we had a flying lap without a pace car ! Attach another pic of JO2286 and LJ4445 taken by a friend who was marshalling.
Bit disapointing the C types had no mention in the programe etc and even more dissapointing that there were no other MG's of any type in any races this year. Good fun and nice to see quite a lot of Triple M folk there.

Dick,
Nice to see pictures from the 50th celebrations, although some of your Goodwood Revival pics seem to have found their way into the Touring Assembly at Wellesbourne section.
