Took the P-type for its annual corrida with the testing machine at T.Turner Autos Ltd., of Lichfield, Staffs..

Not only did the tester give the car a thorough going-over, he took the trouble to involve his fellow mechanic, a candidate for qualification as a Tester, carefully showing him the salient points involved in a pre-war car MOT, such as king-pins, track-rods, trunnions and spring gaiters, inter alia.

There is hope for all of us.

Oh, and it passed. Yippee.
