My Insurance company has asked for the full 6 x photos and a club valuation again this year, to continue the same valuation agreed for the last 3 years.

Is it normal for the same insurance company to re-value the car each year?

Regards
Keith

My insurance company asked for a set of photographs when I first insured my PA. They did not ask for further photographs until I increased the value. At no time have they asked for a 'club valuation'.

I insure through Peter Best.

Hi Keith

Have sent you an email off line.

I did try Peter Best for a quote but they were more expensive than my own insurers Vintage Car Insurance.

Why not approach Hagerty for a quote. We insure all our cars with them and they are very competitive indeed. Also, if you wish to drive someone elses car and it is also insured with Hagerty then you are also covered

Hi All

In the process of re-insuring my PB for off road/under restoration and Agreed Value, was with Peter Best however have changed to a Heritage policy (Norton Insurance Brokers) they wanted 6 photos and their quotation was cheaper than BP.

Email me if you want more details

Made enqireys with three new insurance companies, all stated they only required the
6 x photos every three years to keep the agreed valuation.

I took Richard Hardy's advice and contacted Hagerty Insurance and obtained an excellent quotation.

Thanks again everybody.
Keith
