Just thought I would share this, whilst searching the internet I have found a company called Autospark's. They supply all types of auto electrical components and they also list fully made up looms and offer a wrapping service.
Listed are PA\PB and J2 looms for £108+vat and Magnette looms for £168+vat both are listed as using the correct braided cables which in the current climate of copper prices I thought was good value for money.

I bought a PA loom from them in 1999 which cost me £87 all those years ago!
There is a suppliers section on this discussion forum, but I couldn't see Autosparks there, so they would be a worthy addition.

One thought here, I like Autosparks harnesses, too, and they will use proper chevron style wire insulation (upcharge) and solid black exterior looming (no fleck) on request.
It's something to consider if you're going to the trouble of doing everything "just right".
Superb quality and great people to work with.

Would concur with Toms endorsement of the Auto sparks looms, we are designated stockists of them, at the same prices above J £108, PA/PB £108, N £115, and K £168.
