A friend of mine over here has sent me the attached image of an old hand coloured photo showing an M type with what looks like a British registration PG6126 and was wondering if anyone knew anything about the car?

Cheers,
Matthew.

Mathew

The Registration number does not appear in the printed Triple-M Register - 2012.

What a charming photo.

According to the chassis files, PG 6126 was built on the 8 January 1930 and was a 2 seater GREY and was chassis number 2M 0794 engine 545A and was sold by Jarvis & Sons Ltd., Wimbledon to a Mr. Wm. Hedley Aylott. An early car, that was Grey, but not the colour to paint a black and white photograph!
Cheers, Mike

Thank you gentlemen.
No trace of the car or William Hedley Aylott that I can find in Australia either. There is a Hedley Raymond Aylott in the electoral roll in Tasmania in only 1943. My friend was mainly wanting to know if the car was still around, but looks like it is not.

Cheers,
Matthew.

Do we learn any ting from the windscreen?

It isn't standard, I don't think, but I have seen other pictures of them them like this.

Cheers
