Does anyone know what has happened to the collection of photographs and trials route cards and programmes, amassed by the late Donald Cowbourne, for use in the preparation of his marvellous books on "British Trial Drivers, their Cars and Awards."

It would be a shame if these were sold off individually, rather than be presented to a suitable accessible archive.

Colin,

You may have seen this on Andrew K-B's Wheelspin website, but in case not:

"Donald Cowbourne's books are no longer available from the publisher. They are now available from Clinton Moore (mbpa@c-pbm.freeserve.co.uk) who has the sole distribution rights for the original print run. The books are now £25.00 each + £5.00 postage to UK addresses. There is a special offer of £100 with free postage (within the UK) for those buying a set of all four books at the same time. For postage costs to overseas addresses, please contact Clinton Moore at the email address above."

May be worth an email to Clinton Moore.

Thank you John. I don't regularly check the "Wheelspin" website. I must try harder in the future.

Incidentaly, my query has emanated from Meester Ditchman so I will pass on your suggestion to him.

Best wishes,

Colin B.
