Further to Spitfire's posting and pictures, under Boxing day Abingdon, I attach a photo of L2023 and Chris Cadman's superb M type which he raced at this year's Classic Le Mans. Other Triple-M cars included Barney Creaser's PA, Spitfire's green J2 and Mike Pancheri's Centric blown PA - currently advertised on this wesite for sale.

The superb Alfa in the background is a long wheel base 8C2300 Le Mans - superb, valuable and in the same ownership for 43 years.

As Gary has pointed out is a separate posting there was a superb turnout both of our type of prewar cars and the more modern ones.

George
L2023 and NA0960

Non MMM attending Stony Stratford. A Talbot and... ? I didn't note the black one. Many boat tailed racing specials, road registered were there. I asked George what he would choose for his collection. He was most taken by the long wheelbase Alfa, that stood next to his car.

Thanks Tony. A TK12.60, twin seater from the early 1930s. I love those great valanced mudguards and very distinctive with the hood up.
