There are some - expensive - documents under 'pre war mg' on eBay which many of us might like like, particularly the Kimber, Kohlrausch and Thornley items.
If there were Club funds for buying this sort of thing............. |

Letter & Photos on e-Bay; Kimber letter 9-9-32. Mrs Noakes, E J W Noakes entrant of Hugh c Hamilton various events in 1932, also entered Brighton Spd. Trials 1932, Ch. No. not identified. 1932 TT; J R Jeffress & Cyril Paul, entrant A T G Gardner,DNF,C0253; C Paul also listed as co-driver to A T G G,in 1932 TT (Gardner crashed) in C0256. |

C 0253 knocked out a big end in the 1932 Ulster TT. The car was owned at that time by Randolf Jeffress, who was the second owner of the car after Lord March. Jeffress was I think a pretty wealthy American from a tobacco family in Virginia, but other than that , I know nothing about him. The car won this race the previous year whilst still owned by Lord March. |
