Hi Ross

What a lovely selection of cars including several of yours!

Who owns the 2 tone black and red NB 2 seater? I ask the question as it will soon be joined in Australia by my own black and red NB 2 seater NA0960, Ralph Leach on Brisbane is the lucky new owner.

Hi George,

After driving around the outback in the J3 and NB special I decided a bit of supercharged luxury would be a better idea. Enough patina not too worry about stone chips and the odd kangaroo on the bonnet. Plus some space for a change of clothes.

I was helping Ralph with the import paperwork the other day, so he should have the permit in about a month and then should be able to ship the car.

I reminded him that the car needs to very clean underneath guards and chassis as the quarantine is quite tough with their inspections.

The number of cars coming to Australia seems to be on the increase in recent times, I know of another Montlhery Midget, J2, two NB two seat roadsters, 18/80, TA airline and a couple N&K "boy" racers. Could be some SVWs as well. On the minus I believe we may have lost a J3 to the USA.

Cheers
Ross
