I've got a 3 day pass to Beaulieu and thinking to stay over for the Revivial but what to do in the week between? I'm done most of the MG things, Abingdon, HeritageMU, Brooklands...so suggestions? Anyone else doing these 2 events??

The National Tank Museum at Bovington, just down the road from Beaulieu, is one of the best museums I've ever been to. And you get army-sized portions at the museum canteen.

Thank you Barny ... we have a large private tank museum here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Bovington has an absolutely unrivalled collection of early armour, including the FIRST tank.

Just up the road is Clouds Hill, Lawrence of Arabia's home.

The Silent Woman pub nearby might slake your thirst.

Also if attending Goodwood, nearby is the Rolls Royce factory...on the approach road, one would need to contact them for a tour..if they do such a thing. The building looks impressive. Also what about Portsmouth Historic Naval Base, halfway between Beaulieu and Goodwood. HMS Victory, Mary Rose and the Warrior.
