I thought you might be interested in my latest acquisition...
A 1945 (First Issue) of the much hailed "Wheelspin" book by renowned pre-war MG trials driver Claude Austen Newton May (C. A. N. May), which has been personally signed on the inside to read "Sincerely yours Austen (C. A. N.) May".
It also features another signature that looks like "P Hutchison" or "K Hutchinson" - would that ring any bells with anyone? I can upload a photo of it if it helps.
C.A.N. May's signature has been blurred for obvious reasons!...
Presumably Ken Hutchinson, who was well-known in Ford and - more especially - Allard circles both sides of WW2. Co-founder of the Tailwaggers trials/rally team with Sydney Allard and drove a very successful Lincoln Zephyr-engined Allard in pre-war trials:
