I rarely buy MG Enthusiast since Martyn Wise gave up, but Forum members may be interested in the interview, in the September issue (easily identified with a Martini MGF on the cover), of a couple who drove their PA UK-Beirut in '64 then home again in '66. Quite an adventure then. Probably would be even now!

| In a similar vein, there's a terrific article in the March 1935 MG MaGazine (in the document online section) on touring Eastern Europe in an MG. I did suggest to Mrs J that we might emulate the route in the J2, but being familiar in recent years with most of the places mentioned in the article she was strangely unenthusiastic. |
