Does anyone know if factory produced 12/12's had a fuel pump?
If so where was it situated ?
And. for that matter, did they have a scuttle tank or was the tank in the boot area?

Tony, The 1930 Double Twelve Midgets were fitted with a scuttle mounted fuel tank - see this image of the Victoria Worsley car. I have yet to see a clear nearside under bonnet shot as I would be very interested to know what carburetor was fitted to the factory cars for this race.

Yes the 12/12 have a fuel pump.
The standard M-Type had a gravity fuel system, but the 12/12 has a 6-volt SU fuel pump because of the higher location of the carburetor. I can't find Photos.

Not sure where it was, but Dani Ingold's car, the Stisted car in the 12/12, was at Silverstone in 2008. Difficult to see but on the bottom right.
