Last sunday, the Dutch VSCC held its first ever trial. Under a sunny sky 24 prewars participated in a day full of mud, fun and competition. However.. we are not sure who the winner was. We, the organisation are just happy that everybody went home with a big smile.
Rumours have it that somebody has practised hard for the Kimber...

As Cathelijne says: it was not a proper trial like you have. You probably know that the Netherlands does not have many hills. The only hills are in the south (actually the most beautiful part of the country :-) ) but it is impossible to get a permission for a trial. Also: it was our first "trial" and we were not really sure what the participants wanted. We did not know whether they would find the stages too difficult or too easy. Did they want the competition or did they want to have fun? Anyway, next year there will be another DVSCC-Trial and we will ask some experienced members to be responsible for the competition. Invitations will be send to all clubs.
