I have no idea what you mean Mark You boys in the big engined cars will no doubt use your extra power and leave the little cars in your mirrors

Can anyone supply bags of King Edwards for those of the grid that are under weight, so all the pilots are equal. Some greengrocer could make a good profit here!

Sign on, scrutineering, and then a boxing type weigh in. Anyone finishing with less spuds than he started with will be penalised.

Safety Fast "Race Torque" by RG says the exact day is yet to be finalised. It would be nice to know which day so as to be able make plans. Postings above say it is on the Sunday. That would be good for me, but knowing which day is more important.

Hello David

You are a faster reader than me! We learned today that there is a possibility of us being offered two races now (because there has been a cancellation by a guest race group on Saturday). We have gone back to Ron this afternoon to say that we're happy to look at this but it would really need to be both races on the same day (Sunday), because a 2-day event would be a big 'ask' for many. So of course might be the cost of two races!

Mark is on the case. No commitments will be made without consultation with the racers!

But one get one free, is maybe what we deserve after so many let downs over the past few years.
Now that would ensure a full grid.
Good luck Mark.
Beat me to it Olliver.

Thrown a few ideas into the mix. I d love a second race same day but only if we can keep costs reasonable. Would make it a really worthwhile day.

I let you know as soon as we have options.

To update, We currently have a Sunday slot.

But the programme is still being confirmed, but the MGCC are supportive of this slot for us.
We are investigating all options.
A single race is likely to be £250 and if offered a double header would be £370. Likely to be 15min practise and 20 min races.

In comparison, VSCC 2014 spring start 10 min practise, example races...
Set 3 - 10mins £184
Scratch race - 8 mins £135

I think thats quite good value, but what are your thoughts.

That proposed cost of a double header does not seem unreasonable.
