As F2 with 12 inch brakes and a custom dash so for 1934, must have been to special order.

One interesting thing about the previous archive postings on the Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers film "The Gay Divorcee" (apart from the fact that it is now seems to be referred to as "The Gay Divorce")is that the car was identified as a J2 fitted with large brakes, by several J2 owners.
It certainly looks rather short for an F2, but as I know very little about J2s or F2s, I am not in a position to make further comment.

The rear number at one point is xx 1417, and at other times both numbers appear to be LG 2620! As Brian says, more discussion a few years back - put "Gay Divorce" in to search, and tick "Archived posts"
