MG 748 spent much of it's early years in the Waltham Forest area. It was owned by Harry Howell at 4 Park Road and subsequently 3 Cleveland Park Avenue (1945 to 1967), then Brian Miller at 148 Palmerston Road(1967 to 1994) Is there somebody local who can tell me if those addresses still exist or have they been replaced by high rise etc.

4 Park Road E17 7QF
3 Cleveland Park Avenue E17 7BP
148 Palmerston Road E17 6PY
Although there's a unique address listed for the second address there are also a Ground Floor Flat and a First Floor Flat listed with the same postcode.
Ditto for third address (Flat 1 and Flat 2).

Thanks John. It seems as though every decent sized house, in and around London, has been "converted".

Peter, If you use Google Earth and put in the postcode, and then drag the little man to that place, you will get the street view and you can "drive" up and down looking for the house numbers. Below is 3 Cleveland Park Avenue.

A useful facility. Recently, the 1930s Ets. Mochet bicycle and car factory in Puteaux, France, was swiftly demolished. Luckily, Google Earth still had the pre-demolition street-scape provided a photo of the appearance pre-demolition.
The original address of P.603's first owner seems to have fallen on harder times so a print-out was made of the frontage for the car's history file.

You learn something each day. Neat. Don't look like the sort of place that would have a sports car outside do they
