I was surprised when I started to work on my car that a number of the nuts and bolts had been replaced by non-original ones. Many of them are hexagon heads when clearly, on an MG, they should all be octagonal.

I have therefore commissioned my local machine shop to manufacture a set of BSF nuts and bolts with octagon heads. They will use the same spanner sizes as the incorrect hexagonal equivalents.

Please contact me if you would like to add to my order. Make sure that your pre-war MG has authentic octagonal fasteners!

What material spec John? Can I specify unobtanium for my set please. Can you supply a left handed spanner set as well so I can do them up please. Thanks oliver. Ps can you do them all LH thread please

I just checked with my Snap On man & they can do octagonal sockets to special order...
