Anyone know whether the initials WF stood for "Wilberforce Festering"?

A family friend (who ran one of the first TCs in western Canada) was an expat named Glendower Wilberforce Festering Smith. Understandably, he went by the name "Smitty".

In the 1950s, some English car dealers in Canada concerned with the lack of spares, sent Smitty to present the manufacturers with a proposal for improving parts distribution. Unfortunately, it fell on deaf ears.

Always wondered whether he was connected to the Smith vehicle collection family. I'd welcome any info you may have.
