Hi,

Has anyone a spare copy of Mr Hawke's book for sale perchance?

(also looking for "MG 75 YEARS OF THE J2 M.G. J1 J2 MIDGETS" but that's available on the web for circa 35 quid).

Only 100 copies of 'How They Ran' were produced, Mike was convinced fewer than 100 people would be interested in buying a copy!
Good luck in finding one!
Terry.

The other books which are very useful but now hard to find are Malcolm Green's M.G.Road Cars Vol 1 - four cylinder O.H.C 1929-36 and Vol 2 - six cylinder O.H.C 1931-36.

They occasionally come up for sale on ebay etc.

Hi Perry,

I have a spare unopened copy of 'How They Ran'. I bought one and my thoughtful other half bought me one as a surprise at the same time. Just goes to show that she takes in some of what I go on about!

Will send you a note offline.

Ant.

A number of good MG Triple-M books are currently out of print. Would reprints of any of these be a possibility? And if this is not viable, how about putting books on DVD which the Triple-M Library could sell to gain a wider readership and perhaps earn the authors some well deserved extra income.

That's a good idea if it's possible

Photographer for MGCC (LeMans Classic, Oldtimer Grand Prix etc) and MG Motor (BTCC) and a big prewar MG fan, who would love to own one.

You'll have to consider the rights of the publishers as well as the authors. Even though the books may be out of print, the publishers may well have retained rights to printing and distribution.
