It happened all very fast. Without much hesitation I was in a plane on my way to Scotland for a quick visit to Mr Foster. The ticket was bought almost immediately after my first call to inquire about the 3 line advert in the triple-m bulletin. I had to see this car for myself and almost instantly knew this was a ones-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
And two weeks ago Onno 'D' Konemann and I went to Scotland, to pick up PA0884. At arrival back we had a warm welcome from the welcome committee, triple-m enthousiasts here in the Netherlands. Without further delay, below the pictures of this memorable (At least for me) event.

Regards,
Rainier

Well done Ranier.

Love the MG picnic, why did I not get that when I arrived home with my car in a dozen cardboard boxes and with rusty wings and oil draining up the drive.

Must have missed the the bus when it comes to auto romance!

Well done on getting your dream car.

Verry memorable indeed!

And just to tease all readers, it hase made it's first drives under own power already.
Not bad for a car that has been dormant for so long.

Great stuff Onno...so plenty of time to prep for next years Mary Harris Trophy!

Lights are already tapped up...half way there!

Thank you for all the kind words. And as Onno mentioned, it is running! This summer it will be happy motoring and in winter happy patching up

Cheers,
Rainier

Hi Rainier

Well done on the purchase of the PA.

I note the car is in the printed Register and that we had not received any information for a long time. I expect you already know PA0884 has the relatively early Triple-M Register number 1318. I can supply a metal badge engraved with the Register number, the order form is in the Documents Download section of this web site.

I hope you have advised our Registrar Graham Arrondelle that you now own the car.

Hi George,

In time I would like to have the register badge, it has already been offered as a gift by some triple-m friends. I'll make sure to use the request form.

A register badge came with the car, number 554. Could you tell me which car that is? If it is not of this PA, I wonder what happened to the other car...

I'll make sure I contact the register for an update. I tried to login a few times, but for some reason it won't accept my forum login.

Cheers,
Rainier

Hi Rainier

I owe you an apology - in fact Register number 554 does belong to your car!

Hi George,

Good to know that 554 is correct, thank you for checking. Luckily, I don't need a badge after all .

Cheers,
Rainier

Haha, "we don't need no stinking batches". Perhaps I will start a poll in time, whether I should fit it or not.

But you must have spent hours searching for that!
