I've just read "Lost & Found" in the latest "Enjoying MG" and saw the enquiry (made on behalf of the Paul Gay's 90 year old father) about a T Type with the road plate MG 3125 and engine number 601AP.
I looked up the road plate in the Register and found, as I expected having got the engine number, that this was not a T Type but PA 0347. Graham Arrondelle has confirmed that 601AP was indeed the original engine fitted to this car.
However, Graham has no up to date info on the owner (last heard of in 1988). Does anyone know where this car is now?? It's still on the DVLA "live" list.
