I remember reading, not that long ago I thought, a thread about a chassis that was bought off ebay by a forum member, but there was the same chassis number somewhere in the Netherlands I believe.
I've done a search on terms I thought were in the post but have drawn a blank.
Does anyone remember this, or can point me in the direction of that thread please?

Yes, that's the one David.

Presumably the Registrar has now finished communicating with the two owners so there would seem to be no reason why we should not be acquainted with the outcome.

I am curious why when I did the search on 'ebay chassis' it didn't bring up that thread. I selected 'Search for all Words' and 'archived posts'.

My last comment on the original post suggested I don't have enough information to make a clear decision. This has not changed, but I am in the process of assembling what I do have for discussion at the next committee meeting - but I am not guaranteeing an answer! In any case it will be transmitted to the owners first.
