Correct, and that is why I mentioned road going production models. The C type as you know was mainly built for the track with a limited raodgoing production run thereafter.
I use to have a 6V CJF2 cutout. Only ever seen one of these. C type perhaps?!
Whilst the subject of cutouts is current (!), could someone suggest the repro model number I should use for my 1930 model which, I understand has all 12v ancillaries?
Late M-types were 12V too, I think. So the only 6V cars were early M-types and early C-types! (perhaps also early D- & F-types?)
Our M is 11th from the end of the run (1932)and was 6v with all it's original fittings when bought back in 1968. I think that you can therefore take it that all M types were 6v, they did however have two sizes of dynamo which may be adding to the confusion. Mike
