I came across this photo which appears to be an early ( or at least old ) shot of J2943. It is in the current register as being in the USA but this picture looks to be before that time. I am sure the present owner would like it. Can anyone throw any light on it ?
It was sent to me by French photographer, Alan Le Nabour.

The antique shop would appear to be that of John A Pearson which that nice Mr. Google tells us was in Horton Road, Windsor.

It would appear that the car was last known to be in the US, however, I have no record of either the car or the apparent owner.

Not quite so old. Alain now tells me he took the photo in London in 1980. He teased me with the mono print.
Still 36 years ago, looks in good condition. Where is it now ?

MBH believed that the US car may have been miss-registered & is more likely to be J2934. J2943 was still in the UK a few years back.

The DVLA web site shows it as taxed until 30th April 2016, first registered 4 July 1933 (although 2943 was built in February/March that year), 847 c.c., colour black; and the National Tyres web site says "1933 MG PETROL (OTHER)"
