I found this promotional film for King and Harper Ltd in Cambridge dated 1932. There is a brief shot of an M-type registration VE5838. I can't see this in the register.

From the shots of the workshop I don't think I would let them work on my car.

Interesting pictures.Presumably the M-type does not survive. It appears to be a late fabric bodied example.

The registration number does not appear in any of our records so there is currently no way to trace it.
