Please could anyone identify the MG in the picture, which I believe belonged to Billy Barker, a relative of a friend of mine. Any history of the car would also help.
Thanks,
Rob Paisley

A 1931 Montlhery Midget, one of the first 14 built. Looks like it's in a spot of bother as well! |

It's G.H.S. (Gordie) Balmain bringing in C0258 during the 1933 BRDC 500 Miles Race at Brooklands. The owner at the time was J.G.C. Low.
Who might Billy Barker be, Rob? Any info highly appreciated!
Many thanks, Cat |

Barker was a friend of Low who later went on to share J4004 with Low in 1934 |
