Just going through some old photos and found these, Crystal Palce but what date and the car in the back ground?

I'll take a punt at the 1938 London GP.
The s/s is Cuddon-Fletcher in K3009.
The K3 behind Bira might be Stuart-Wilton in K3004.

Yes, almost certainly the London GP, although the race took place on the 25th June 1938, not the 27th as shown on the chalk-board. K3013 was also entered (Kay Taylour) but she didn't start, and K3015 (J H T Smith) who did start but he failed to finish.
