Brooklands reputedly 28th April 1934 which ties up with the 200 mile international trophy race although I would expect to see a few more competition numbers. Go on, show your knowledge!

It appears to me a lineup of at least 6 Q-Types, so is more likely to be 1935 than 1934, if the April month is correct.

However, #29 is likely J4004 which appeared at Brooklands on 28/4/1934.

Just my 2 cents worth...

We are here for a good time, not a long time !.

Hello, Tony.
The cars in line are actually K3s.

Hi ,
Pick from this list:
K3004, 006, 007, 009, 013, 020 to 027
C0254
J004, J009.

From a spreadsheet prepared after a couple of whiskies.
cheers

Easy extraction from the Hawke/Weissmann book reveals all!
K3018 slab tank
K3019 Cecchini car
K3028 Built after 28/4/34
Thus K3020 through to K3027 are the eight K3s entered. K3023 Eyston's Humbug not in the picture.
Six K3s lined up and the other one in the shed ahead of C0258 No 29. Also entered were C0254 number 28 and J4009 number 30 not in the picture.

Results:
20 number 18 C Penn Hughes finished 13th
21 15 C J Dodson 8th
22 14 D Froy DNF
23 16 G Eyston DNF
24 12 N Black 9th
25 23 C E C Martin 11th
26 17 W Handley DNF number can be seen in the picxture
27 22 R H Eccles 17th

Not the best of results for the MG Car Co launching the pointed tail K3!!

Mike Allison in The Works MGs says 16 MGs were entered in a field of 42.

Love the picture!

I have some with rounded bases that self right so the whisky doesn't spill and they don't roll off the table.
