Hi Dick, I am told that sadly Stig passed away many years ago. The car is now owned by Borje Pettersson and will be featured in the MGCC Sweden magazine at a future date.

The correct spelling of Stig's surname is Andersson.
Here's a pic taken in 2011 of Stig's workshop. Stig was 88 years young at the time. The J2 he was working on is in the foreground and his TC (TC2877) can be seen behind.
I'm not sure if Stig ever finished the J2, but I do know that he was into his 90s when he died.

Here's another pic of Stig's workshop.
The man in the background is Carl Holgersson, a mere youngster of 71 at the time, who was helping 88 years young Stig with some mechanical work.
I have a pic of Stig driving his TC with his two poodles as passengers. I'll look it out.

I would like to add some additions to J2159. Former owners are listed in the anniversary volume from 2002. The bulletin is from M.G. Car Club of Sweden is the anniversary band 1952-2002. Also the registered car numbers.
Add scan with the details.
