Colin Young from Bristol owned my MG PA in the late 40s. In one of his albums there is a picture of a J2, the caption says : Vic Woodall's MG J2. It also seems to have a non standard MG rear axle. Does anybody recognize the name? I am curious which car it is.

Interesting. ALW 24 is shown on the DVLA website as being a 1933 Riley.

Must be ALM 24 which is recorded as a 1933 MG Midget, registered 22 July 33. DVLA have it with a 1056cc engine fitted. |

That’d be J3097, sold through Jarvis in June 1933. R.P. Fletcher of West Green, North London was possibly the first owner. Listed in the Register with Register number 340 but not heard of since 1986.
