Searching for unrestored 52mm (2") 8-day Smith's (or Jaeger) car clock.

Hi Glenn,
What do you think of this! A battery operated clock.
The name Smith on the dial and perfect running.
The diameter of the housing in exact 52 mm. If you have a 2” octagonal bezel you have a perfect solution.

Its normally the delicate escapements that cause the trouble The rest is pretty sturdy. But where on earth can one find replacements?

Sorry, I must have missed this post. I do not want a battery operated clock, I want Smiths (or Jaeger) 2 inch 8 day clock that has the long wind stem. Thanks, Glenn

Would it be a brown or black faced clock you require or does it matter ? Presumably you intend to embark on a refurbishment . Does it mean then that you have a source of the all important ABEC escapement printed dials??
