Dear MMM friends
I am looking for a T-shaped rubber seal for the lower side of the windscreen of my J2.
Unfortunately my search has been unsuccessful. Does anyone know a supplier for the rubber seal?

It's the same as most T-types, so all the major parts dealers should stock it.

Lew, do you know of anyone who supplies a "softer rubber" version than the usual versions (e.g. Moss Motors), that would allow an "easier to fold" windscreen?

I always keep the shallow soft windscreen seal in stock to enable screen to be folded.

Have look at Seals+Direct; they have many different rubber/elastomer sections including some 'U' sections which might be a better solution than a flat strip folded round the edge of the windscreen glass fitting into the metal channel section of the windscreen frame:

Hello Bruce

Thanks for the link. I think it should be a T-profile for a good mounting. I measured the height of the profile at about 60mm. But the profile could be a little less thick. Now it is about 2.5 mm thick. I looked on Sealdirect beforehand and didn't find anything 1:1 fitting.

Thomas, perhaps I misunderstood the windscreen seal you wanted, if it was that between the lower cross-member of the windscreen frame to the body scuttle panel then this may be what you require:
