Geoff made the fuel and oil tanks for my Q Type recreation and did a fantastic job.
At the time he was also making saddle tanks for Spitfires. These complex creations were the priming tanks for Spitfires and sat behind the cockpit dashboard. There was not a straight line or surface in the tank and Geoff recreated them exactly.
I saw his R Type half way through the build at the time and was so impressed by the skill and attention to detail.
A very talented and nice man. You get a sense of this from the video, Simon.
