Another most enjoyable Register bulletin received for April/May, full of interesting stories, facts and excellent pictures.
With thanks to Ian Goddard and all concerned.

I absolutely agree with Chris - another great read.

And if Bob Walker should see this …Bob, in the 2017 Yearbook I reproduced D.S.J.'s 1978 Motor Sport article on the J.H.T. Smith car, K3015. Personally, I agree with every word of Jenks's last paragraph!

Related, of a sort, I see that the June 2024 issue of The Automobile has published a letter that includes reference to the J.H.T. Smith car.

What does the letter say Huw? Think Jenks' views are well known, his court evidence in the Old No.1 case makes v.interesting reading..

I, too, am curious to know what Jenks says in the letter. ( I’m on holiday and trying to find the magazine!)

Chris,

I doubt Jenks has anything to say in the letter!

Simon is correct in his assumption, the letter has nothing to do with Jenks

The subject is preserving the originality of unmolested cars.
