I am looking for an ORIGINAL chrome top strap for the J2 spare wheel carrier in reasonably good condition. The one which is attached to the body bracket and swings up.
Can anybody help out there?.

Hi Tim
I have one that has lost its chrome. However I would suggest you make one from stainless much cheaper than re chroming old steel.

Hello Howard,
I would be very interested in buying it from you. It will do just fine as a pattern. They all go rusty and hopefully yours is surface rust following loss of chrome.
