Has anyone got a spare front apron clamp that fastens on the front chassis tube that they are willing to sell this is for D/J Chassis,P types may be the same but not sure.Thank you Chris.

Hi Sam thanks for your reply you are quite right about the terry clip type fastening for the D/J1 which i think was a poor idea and not really that secure,it could be quite easy to become shaken loose with the state of the roads that's why i was thinking about the J2 method plus i think it looks the part.I know it's not original but does it matter? I think for something like this no Chris. If, as the original owner you had that feeling about it you could, I'm sure, have had the car delivered with the J2 arrangement. Probably have cost you about 5 bob. Go for it!

Hi Chris, I bought last week a very well made spot light holder that fits to 4x4’s bull bars 32mm dia anodised aluminium they come in pairs for less than a tenner for two. I had a machine shop quote £187 for one…… you are welcome to the other one, but we are away until 1st Oct.
