Triple-M toolkits came with an adjustable spanner similar to the one on the extreme right of Rob's picture made either by Shelley or Abingdon King Dick. When I was putting my toolkit together the received wisdom was that such a spanner should be the one measuring 4 1/2” but I’m now inclined to think it should be the 6” version.
The third from the right on Rob’s photo was called, in my circle of bodgers, a pair of plumbers’ dogs. Made, in the Manchester UK area, by “footprint” whose image was stamped there on. I still have a pair.
The spanner second from the right looks to be the original 6” 'Footprint' brand spanner according to the chapter in Ron Geesin's book on Ellen T.R. (Footprint Works Ltd).
