My late great uncle enjoyed a number of MG gatherings back in the 1960s, and like we all do, took pictures of cars that took his eye. I have low-res images of the slides that he took - hopefully they may be of interest?
The first is this one, of MG5255 - a J2 I think?

No Rob, NB. See low level of headlights relative to rad, substantial windscreen mounting brackets and also the long exterior door hinges for the front hinged doors.

NA0952 - a survivor and donated to the British Motor Heritage Museum some years ago, having covered over 170,000 miles!

As Dick already mentioned - - - an N-type with a truly great history !
See MMM Bulletin Feb.2013 and the book "MAKING MGs" page 16, also see Safety Fast July/Sept. 1959. This NA was bought new by E.B.Allison of Swanland, E. Yorkshire, and given in June 1959 to the MG Car Company via John Thornley. It had in 1959 the Reg. No. MG 5255, which was changed later to 857 MEW.

Wow! What an amazing story, thanks for this.
The photograph was taken in around 1964 I think, so would have been in the hands of the MG car company at around that time?

As pointed out above, NA0952 along with the door hinges show this is an NB, not an NA as the article Gerhard posted claims.
