These images were shared with me from Terry McGrath Motoring Archives yesterday. They were acquired from an eBay seller in the UK with unknown history/storyline but appears to have Yandina, QLD, Australia locations. There are cane fields around Yandina, but no known property as "Yandina Plantation". Any suggestions are welcome.

Are you sure that’s not just a model on the front lawn?

I hold nine images of RM 7401 in the Pre-war Minor Network archive, along with two snippets scanned from the readers' letters pages of period magazines. The images and documents were collected over a 15-year period. I have attached the scanned snippets which tell their own story. An article on this car's early thirties history appears in the Morris Register's Morris Monthly magazine's March 2024 edition.

Those travels are seriously cool. Thanks Chris for sharing the articles and Sam for the shots from the album. Having recently ventured over the Great St Bernard and many other passes in a modern (by MMM standards) MG it's great to see the period photos. And wow in an M-type too, awesome. |

With thanks to Matthew Magilton, it appears that Gerald Gordon might have been a resident in Australia, more than the UK in the 1930's.
