The Vintage Sports Car Club have issued their 'prospectus' for racing this year. MMM races at Donington Park, Cadwell Park and Mallory Park . Whoopee ! Also their race meeting at Silverstone will include a half-hour high speed trial , which includes a compulsory pit-stop to change a spark plug , and this for £200 , amazing value . Even better value is that the entry is FREE if this is your first ever event. This would be the best ever introduction for those thinking of getting into MMM racing. I am sure this will be a popular event and as entries open on 5th March it would be wise to submit an entry soonest.

Fred If you put on a fake moustache I am sure you could fool them into accepting you as a “new” entry ;)

And well done to Duncan and Mark for arranging all those MMM races.
Do not forget we also have our classic Brands Hatch season opener with Equipe racing March 30th

Fred, is the MGCC an invited club, or do you have to be a member of the VSCC & does "first ever event" mean a VSCC race entry, or any Club race entry. Still a few hoops to jump through medically to get race licence reissued, but I'm ever the optimist!

I am not sure if MGCC is an invited club. It is certainly worth giving the VSCC office a call. I think 'first ever event ' means the first try at any circuit racing. The high speed trial is a good introduction as it uis for road-going sports cars , so no single seaters lapping at an amazing speed. Adrian 'Moore the Merrier' it would certainly be worth your while to give Fozzy a ring.
