Can you confirm this is a P-Type? It came with a series of photos for PA1875 but there are several details like the hood and taillights that do not match up with the other phots of the car.

PA1875 was indeed originally built as a 4 seater, so the hood would look differently as the hood was longer than the 2 seater hood. The tail lamps look to be a Lucas L471 - the same as used on the MG TD and many other cars of the 1950s. As the original ST38 (Pork Pie) lamps were set quite low, it is likely that the L471 so positioned gave a better visibility to following vehicles. Being so common, the L471 was a very popular modification to the original lighting.

Hi Lew,
Sorry I was not questioning the configuration of PA 1875. I know that car very well by now. The pictures above show a number of details that don't match the other photos I have of the car and was wondering if it might be another P-Type.
For example here are a couple of photos of PA1875 before and after the pictures above that were taken in 1962. The first one is from 1939.
The second color photo is marked on the back April 1989.
In both photos the PA does not have the "modern" taillights.
