Never had a problem with it, but my first hood had higher cut windows. It was made by an 84 year old who was making hoods for Ms when they were new - "all the lads used to ask me to cut the windows higher" he even still had the patterns. I wore that hood out and had to make another. I found you could go faster with the hood up and further too without getting tired because the sketchy windscreen is pretty ineffective. It improves vision to have the lower seating provided by air cushions . |

Hi Reinout, you may recall I easily entered and exited your M type with the hood up at a USA MMM meet. Proof inside cover 2019 NAMMM Membership Directory with caption " Even Bob Grunau fits an M ". Not sure if that was a slight or positive comment as being 6'-0", size 12 shoes and 100 kgm+ I am no midget. Bob |

Hi Bob, and yes, I remember that very well. It was at MG2016, the all-register meet in Louisville, KY. The photo caption in the NAMMMR directory was meant funny but also serious, as one could see that you're not a small man but appeared to fit quite well. Upon studying the photo, it looks like we undid (one of) the rear "press stud(s)" however. Is it okay to show that photo here?
