Can anyone tell me anything about the history of C-type C0289 and what became of it?

This (only by the way) is the crankshaft which survived its engine which I understand was supercharged at its end.



I also understand C 0289 was owned by Mike Lowndes' brother when the engine (which contained the crankshaft above) stopped for ever.

The supercharger was last seen sectioned displayed in a technical college.

The car is not listed on the 1982 Register, but it appears in the 1986 version in the hands of our very own Foz !!
Registration GP2913 Register number 587
The car then disappears from later Registers - although the 2013 volume still lists the registration and chassis number in the list at the back but not in the C-type section
What DID you do with it Barry ???
