Coming one step closer to my D special I have been able to buy/win a body on Ebay (thanks all for not bidding higher )
The body was used on an L type but so far all other history is unknown to me. Off course I have asked the seller for any info he can provide, but it seems foolish not to use the collective knowledge of this forum.

So does any one know anything about the history of the body? What car it was used on when it was made etc. As we all know the history is part of the fun!
Was on an L type special built by Philip venables in the early 1980's. Very quick car in its time running on methanol,had 3'9" axles and if i recall engine was moved back about 3" in the chassis.Was replaced by a later owner with a pointed tail body. Oliver
