Ye they may well be interested, since posting this topic I have found out how Gordon McKenzie died in his Hurricane, he was with 55 OTU and the Hurticane was ex 501 Suadron, I believe the plane was flown in the Battle of Britain. It's been really interesting tracing all the history, I am waiting I hope for more photos of the car and more info. I now have some lovely photos of Gordon McKenzies brother who had the car after his death, these photos are of him standing in front of his Halifax Bomber at Liverpool airport during the War.
All interesting stuff
