Can I look forward to watching some mmm racing on 20th June, or is my diary incorrect (it wouldn't be the first time)?

Hello Nigel

The event is part of the MG Car Club's 'MGs on track' events - you can see details at http://www.mgs-on-track.com/?

Hope this helps.

BTW you might like to check and update your Forum profile, as it still shows you as a resident of Wilmslow. In fact could I ask that you kindly e-mail me off line at richard dot morbey at gmail dot com with your new address? That will ensure that we have your current details including e-mail address on our new database of cars and their owners? Thanks!

Hmmm....I see from the 2015 Register that the "J4 Sports", JK 3233 is a J2 and the "Q Type Replica" is apparently a P Type. Should they not be correctly described in a Register event?

Hi Simon. I agree but it's a VSCC event, not a Register one. Doesn't detract from what you have said

We have referred to both cars correctly previously. As Dick has said its a VSCC event and link to buff forms etc.

I d be happy to explain more about this and some of the implications off line. There is always a bigger picture.

For now please support those racers that are willing to fund and race to put on a great show. You will see that I refer in reports and write ups correctly.

Wow! What brillaint weekend at Cadwell. Well done everyone, just fantatsic to see so many wonderful cars out there! Great fun as ever.

Congratulations to Mike Painter and Harry Painter for holding off the Austins to win the Challenge! Some seriously competitive racing all the way down the field. Looks like Michael Barber took the handicap award in the P type too!

Mike also grabbed a podium spot in the SPERO race with Duncan Potter taking the 1st sports car award. Duncan should have also done enough in set 3 to retain his lead in the Driver Owner Mechanic Championship

As Dave Salmon VSCC has just said, we definatley saved the best till last!

Some fun onboard footage if you have a few minutes! Plenty more and photos to come!

Thankyou for those kind words Mark but without you all competing, there is nothing to photograph
