Yes, I think we just hit the forty mark for MMM entries with Andy and Angela Kings '35 PB Cream Cracker. Awaiting another PB entry from Michael Pancheri. As of this morning, 407 climbs allocated, so just about 68 to go, although I am working feverishly behind the scenes on this. |

As of today we have 43 MMM's booked for Pre-War Prescott with more expected, so probably at least 50 on the day. With such a great entry, I would like to invite the MMM Register to make this a bit more than just a couple of lines of cars in the Paddock. As a gathering within a gathering, I'd be very happy to offer space for a club tent/display, spares stalls or whatever you might like to bring along. (There is a small fee for independent trade stands, but club stands are all completely free.)
It also occurred to me that it might be a good idea to make or inaugurate some annual PWP MMM Register award or awards to be presented on the day. Other one-make clubs do this on the day each year, and the Morris Specials Group present an award at Pre-War Prescott each year, even though they only have about five cars present. Best restoration, longest distance, whatever. It seems too good an opportunity to waste. You can do this yourself during the day or the awards can be presented at the Clubhouse at the end of the day with the other PWP awards.
The same goes for the Sunday Nav Rally. An award for the highest scoring MMM? Right now, we have just two MMM cars entered in the nav rally, but several more who have entered the scenic tour. How about some of you trying the nav rally - happy to switch you. Its a very gentle treasure hunt along the same route as the tour and you will have a sealed envelope with the explicit directions in it, so you can abandon the nav rally and switch to the tour at any moment, so why not give it a try?
Thoughts and feedback on the above most welcome. Happy to accommodate whatever would enhance the weekend for you all. |

Ian, I think you have some great suggestions for you, but it guess it's a MMM Register committee decision that needs to be thought about and then made Best Regards Colin

Thanks Colin and thanks for your e-mail. Will make contact with the powers that be.
I just got the souvenir programme away to the printers in Cheltenham this morning and all of the tickets for entries received so far are enveloped, addressed and will be shipped in bulk to Colin Lee today for onward posting. Future entries will be ticketed on an individual basis. In other news this morning, Cotswold Motorsport are providing something suitably exotic as a Course Car and the GWR railway is bringing a stand.
Here's the latest MMM entry - 44 and counting:

This sounds a really enjoyable and interesting event. I assume its open to non participants (the PB is a long way from being usable) but the TA might be persuaded to make the journey. Where do I get tickets?

Greg,
Belay my message above - found your address on your PayPal payment.
Others, yes, open to all pre-war cars, and also spectators for those without. Spectator cars are GBP 15 per car, to include all occupants. Note that pre-war cars can simply enter on the day and pay at the gate, but don't expect any climbs to be left! Similarly spectators can just turn up on the day and pay at the gate.
I'll also have spare evening BBQ tickets with me on the day if you decide to stay on for the evening to be entertained by Mike Dowley and his jazz band and his vivacious headliner Sheila Fawkes of Eureka Jazz Band fame. The Prescott Ales Brewery has been warned that the MG boys will be there in force ... |

Nick,
Getting low on climbs (about 38 in hand) - are you planning to enter with your TA?
