I have recently been informed that an item advertised on the forum I had first written request to purchase, has been sold to someone else on the basis that there had been a lot of interest in it. I passed on my deep disappointment to the seller.
I have sold a number of items on the forum and have always sold on a strictly first written request first acceptance basis. Where a conditional offer has been made I have stuck with those, until resolved, or sold to the next offer in line only if agreed unresolved.
I would like to know agreed sales etiquette on the forum.
Further, my involvement with MGs also holds on to the traditional values that I cherish, such as playing cricket as it used to be. |
